MUARA, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 – The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisory (OHS) Course series 03/2019, conducted by the Inspectorate Unit of RBAF and the Naval Inspectorate Cell, concluded this morning at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). 25 personnel participated in the course, of which 12 from RBN and 10 from RBAF, two from Civilian personnel of RBN and one personnel from Muara Maritime Services (MMS) Sdn Bhd.
The objective of the course was to provide knowledge on the roles and responsibilities of the OHS Supervisor and also to understand the RBAF’s OHS Management system and policy. Knowledge on hazard identification and control risk (Risk Assessment and Control Measure) deemed crucial for every HSE Supervisors were also part of the course syllabus.
All course participants are expected to apply their knowledge and to implement them at their respective workplace enabling a more healthy and suitable environment for all RBN as well as civilian personnels to work in.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohammad Amirul Azwan bin Hj Dulah, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 3 Health, Safety & Environment of Inspectorate Cell RBN, awarded the certificates to the course participants on behalf of the Head Inspectorate Cell RBN.
