FAREWELL VISIT BY THE COMMANDER OF ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES TO THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
MUARA, Thursday, 3 February 2022 - The Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, made a farewell visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) this afternoon as he ends his 34-year service in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The event was conducted in accordance with COVID-19 endemic phase guidelines from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health.
RBN COMMANDER RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL BY DEFENCE ADVISER OF AUSTRALIA TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 – First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, RBN Commander received an introductory call from Wing Commander Matthew Charles Xerri, Defence Adviser of Australia to Brunei Darussalam this afternoon at Bilik Pahlawan, RBN Headquarters.
RBN PARTICIPATES IN MALAM MUNAJAT ORGANISED BY THE MINISTRY OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
MUARA, Saturday, 22 January 2022 – A Malam Munajat ceremony organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) was held via video teleconference held simultaneously throughout the country. The focal point for the Ministry of Defence and RBAF was at Surau Ad-Difa, Bolkiah Garrison where the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi Bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence leading the attendance for the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF from their respective surau via video teleconference.
USS JACKSON OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM FOR LOGISTIC VISIT
MUARA, Sunday, 16 January 2022 – USS JACKSON of the United States Navy (USN) made a logistics port of call to Brunei Darussalam. Along with the visit, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and USN have successfully conducted the Passage Exercise (PASSEX), on 13th January 2022, between KDB DARUTTAQWA and USS JACKSON.
RSS ENDEAVOUR OF THE REPUBLIC SINGAPORE NAVY CONDUCTS PASSAGE EXERCISE WITH KDB DARUTTAQWA
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, Saturday, 15 January 2022 – RSS ENDEAVOUR of the Republic Singapore Navy (RSN) has successfully conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) KDB DARUTTAQWA today as she transits through Brunei Darussalam’s waters whilst hosting the Midshipmen Sea Training Deployment (MSTD).
