ACTING COMMANDER RBN RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM DEFENCE ATTACHÉ OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Tuesday, 19 July 2022 – Yang Mulia Captain Haji Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Senior Colonel Dai Qilin, Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Fan Xiawei, Assistant Defence Attaché, and the Chief of Staff, RBN.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS MAJESTY SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH MUI’ZZADDIN WADDAULAH, SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM 76TH BIRTHDAY
MUARA, Thursday, 14 July 2021 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mui’zzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam 76th birthday celebration. The ceremony was held at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS HARI RAYA ‘AIDILADHA KORBAN EVENT 1443 HIJRAH
MUARA, Tuesday, 12 July 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy today held an event to distribute korban meats in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1443 Hijrah at Dewan Samudera, Muara Naval Base. The distributions were made to RBN personnel and a total of 59 Asnaf recipients. The event began with a recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and Takbir Adidil Adha led by Ustaz Muhammad Sabqi bin Nasar.

MUARA, Tuesday, 12 July 2022 – Yang Mulia First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Commander Ishikawa Kiyoshi, Defence Attaché of Japan to Malaysia Accredited to Brunei Darussalam. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Commander Kentaro Sugimoto, the Second Secretary of the Japanese Embassy for Defence Cooperation to Brunei Darussalam, Lieutenant Wada Toshifumi, and the Chief of Staff, RBN.
FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR EXERCISE HELANG LAUT WITH THE INDONESIAN NAVY
MUARA, Tuesday 12 July 2022 – The Final Planning Conference (FPC) for Exercise HELANG LAUT 20B/22 was successfully conducted through Video Teleconference (VTC) at Bilik Mesyuarat Bendahara Sakam, Naval Training Centre (NTC), Muara Naval Base. The FPC was hosted by the Royal Brunei Navy as the exercise coordinator for this year’s Exercise HELANG LAUT between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Indonesian Navy (IDN).
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLDS TAKBIR RAYA AND SUNNAT HARI RAYA ‘AIDILADHA PRAYER 1443 HIJRAH
MUARA, Sunday, 10 July 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha with Takbir Raya and Sunnat Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony was attended by Commander RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji as well as senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN who performed mass Maghrib prayer, recitations of Takbir Hari Raya ‘Aidiladha, followed by mass Isyak prayer.
