THE OPENING NIGHT OF TARAWIH PRAYERS AND RECITATION OF AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MONTH OF RAMADHAN 1444H
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 22 March 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the Opening Night of Tarawih, Witir and Tadarus Al-Quran for the month of Ramadhan 1444H held at Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
TEN ROYAL BRUNEI OFFICERS COMPLETE THE COMMANDING OFFICER DESIGNATE COURSE
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 22 March 2023 – Ten (10) executive officers were awarded certificates following the completion of the first Commanding Officer Designate Course 2022 at a closing ceremony held at Dewan Nakhoda, Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).

MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 21 March 2023 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, today graced the Commissioning Ceremony of Patrol Vessel KDB AS-SIDDIQ held at Jetty Bravo of Muara Naval Base.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE BASIC BASE DEFENCE COURSE 2023
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 17 March 2023 – 38 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel completed their course which was held over 8 intensive weeks including 5 days of Exercise named Eksesais Panglima. The closing ceremony was officiated by the Guest of Honour, Lieutenant Commander Wan Abdul Naafi bin Metussin, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 2 Intelligence, RBN HQ.
PATROL VESSEL HANDING OVER, TAKING OVER CEREMONY BETWEEN REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE NAVY AND ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY
CHANGI NAVAL BASE, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Wednesday, 15 March 2023 – The Patrol Vessel Handing Over, Taking Over Ceremony between the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) took place in Changi Naval Base today. The ceremony was another significant milestone of the longstanding ties of more than 43 years between both navies.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY ATTENDS MARITIME SECURITY SYMPOSIUM 2023 HOSTED BY THE UNITED KINGDOM ROYAL NAVY MARITIME WARFARE SCHOOL
BALI, INDONESIA, Saturday, 11 March 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy attended the Inaugural Maritime Security Symposium 2023 hosted by the United Kingdom Royal Navy Maritime Warfare School from Monday, 6 March until Friday, 10 March 2023. A total of 51 participants attended the symposium representing Maritime Security stakeholders from Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Bruneian representation included three (03) officers from the Royal Brunei Navy, Lieutenant Commander Wan Abdul Naafi bin Metussin, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 2 Intelligence as Head of Delegation, Lieutenant Commander Najihah binti Haji Abdul Hisab, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 2 Research, and Lieutenant Junior Grade Pg Mohammad Fadhil bin Pg Haji Ali, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 3 Naval Research Cell, one (01) from the Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Lieutenant Ahmad Nafees bin Haji Kamsani, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 3 J3 (Navy) and one (01) from the Judge Advocate General’s Office, RBAF, Captain Adibah binti Haji Mohamed, Military Legal Officer (Operations).
