Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, 10 October 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Acting Commander, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, represented Brunei Darussalam at the 18th ASEAN Navy Chiefs' Meeting (ANCM) hosted by the Myanmar Navy from 9-12 October 2024. The meeting, officiated by General Maung Maung Aye, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy, and Air), focused on strengthening regional maritime security and cooperation.

Muara Commercial Port, Saturday, 5th October 2024 - a joint delegation from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) team and the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) 1st Wing and 3rd Wing personnel, visited the USS Savannah at Muara Commercial Port yesterday. The visit involved an exchange of expertise on various naval and aerial operations as well as a guided tour of the USS Savannah, an Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), known for its agility and capability to operate in both near-shore and open-ocean environments.

Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia​, Monday, 30th September 2024 – Royal Brunei Navy officers headed by Commander Md Azrin bin Hj Mahmud, Chief of Staff RBN, joined 16 other nations as well as 3 external organizations for the 20th series of the Asia Pacific Submarine Conference. SALAYA, THAILAND, FRIDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2024 - Lt Cdr Mohd Amiel Azim bin Hj Afflon of the Royal Brunei Navy has successfully completed the 84th Naval Command and Staff Course (NCSC) conducted by the Royal Thai Navy. Spanning 18 months, the course included a mandatory 6-month Thai language training program for international officers and a 12-month NCSC, aimed at preparing officers for command and staff roles.

Muara Naval Base, Thursday, September 05, 2024 – "A day of exploration, music and career discovery" The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted an educational visit from Peachtree Playhouse, welcoming 80 students, teachers, and parents to explore RBN facilities. The group was greeted by the Naval Training Centre and enjoyed a performance by the Royal Brunei Navy Band, with opportunities to play instruments like the 'gulintangan' and conduct the band. The visit featured interactive displays of Navy assets and equipment. The day concluded with a group photo outside the RBN patrol vessel KDB DARULAMAN.​

MONDAY, 19 AUGUST 2024 , MUARA NAVAL BASE – KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN has returned to home following a highly successful deployment of participating in the largest multi-lateral maritime exercise, 29th Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) that spanned for over 77 days. The exercises were conducted in Hawaii, United States of America (USA) from 27 June 2024 - 02 August 2024. The exercise was joined by a total of 40 ships including three submarines, over 150 aircrafts and 25,000 personnel from 29 nations.

NAVAL WARGAMING & SIMULATION CENTRE (NWSC), RSS SINGAPURA, Thursday, 8th August 2024 – Exercise Pelican 42/2024 concluded successfully after five days of rigorous training and collaboration. Bandar Seri Begawan, 04 August 2024 - The Royal Brunei Navy participated in the Riadah Berbasikal Keputeraan 2024 led by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. Accompanying His Majesty were members of the royal family. The cycling recreation was to mark the monarch’s 78th birthday celebration.​
