MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 01 August 2023 – A total of forty (40) students from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Bolkiah Campus, Seria along with nine (09) teaching staff, visited the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
Their arrival was welcomed by officers from KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULEHSAN where the group was given introductory brief highlighting the ships’ roles and responsibilities. The visit continued with a ship tour onboard KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULEHSAN where the group visited the ships’ bridge, flightdeck, sick bay, RHIC Deck and Engine room.
This visit allowed the students to observe RBN assets and the personnel behind the assets while taking the opportunity to learn about the preparations required for a career at the RBN. The students enjoyed the visit and continued interacting with personnel of the RBN before concluding the visit with a group photo.
