MUARA, MONDAY, 03 JUNE 2019 - In uplifting the reading of Al-Quran among the officers and members of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Khatam Al-Quran and
Iftar
ceremony in conjunction of the Holy month of Ramadhan 1440H was held at Surau Al-Huda in Muara Naval Base.
Present as the guest of honor was First Admiral Haji Othman bin Suhaili @ Suhaily, Commander of RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
In spirit and completion of many holy activities during Ramadhan, commomeration of the event aimed to show gratefulness as well as to strengthen personnel character development through the complete recitation of 30 juzu’ or chapters of the Al-Quran.
The event began with Takhtim and Khatam prayers led by the Imam of Surau Al-Huda, followed by the Dikir Marhaban
The event then ends with the
Iftar ceremony which further inculcates the sense of community among the RBN Officers as well as personnel especially towards the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
