MUARA, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Sultan Bolkiah Campus. The group consisted of 7 instructors and 37 students led by Nu’urul Ellisa binti Suili, Technical Instructor. The visit is part of the school’s program to experience the working environment and an insight to the career opportunities in RBN.
The group was received by Lieutenant Dk Lyadia Ulandari binti Pg Hj Muhamad, RBN and Lieutenant Mohd Khairul Anuar bin Abdullah, RBN. This was followed by a short brief of RBN and tour started at Synchrolift Bravo, Naval Base which includes Welding, Painting, Electrical, Riggers and Machine Workshops.
The group also had the opportunity to have a ship tour onboard KDB DARULEHSAN which includes the Bridge, Ratings Mess, Sickbay and Engine Room. Welcoming the group was Lieutenant Junior Grade Muhammad Farasul Wa’ie bin Wadi, RBN.
At the end of the tour, a group photo session was taken at the Foxcle before they leaving Muara Naval Base.
