ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY BASE, Wednesday, 26 October 2022 – A total of 82 students from Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School, along with 07 teaching staff, visited the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
Their arrival was welcomed by Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN where he welcomed the students and teachers to the RBN. Lieutenant Junior Grade Fatin Afiqah binti Ramlli, RBN, Second-in-Command Human Resource Officer, Naval Training Centre gave a briefing on the overview of RBN as well as RBN’s roles and responsibilities to the students and teachers.
The visit continued with a ship tour onboard KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARUTTAQWA where the group was given an introductory brief followed by visits to the ships’ bridge, flight deck, sick bay and RHIC Deck.
This visit allowed the students to observe RBN assets and the personnel behind the assets and had the opportunity to ask about the preparations required for a career at RBN. The students enjoyed the visit and continued interacting with members of the RBN before concluding the visit with a group photo.
