BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 25 February 2019 – The Brunei Darussalam national flag that was hoisted since 16 February has been lowered down, in the vicinity of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, marking the end of the 35th National day’s celebration throughout the country.Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrum bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
20 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were involved in lowering the national flag, led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Haji Ahmad Ahdaa bin Haji Ahmad, RBN. The entire proceeding was accompanied by the National Anthem, ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’.
Subsequently, the national flag was handed over to the Guest of Honour. A Doa Selamat was then recited to conclude the event.
