JEJU, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Saturday, 13 October 2018 - Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi Bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, made a courtesy call to Rear Admiral Lee Seong-Hwan, Deputy Chief of Naval Operation (DCNO) Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) on Saturday, 13th October 2018 held at Lotte Hotel, Jeju.
During the call, DCNO ROKN welcomed Commander of RBN and expressed his pleasure and gratitude for RBN to participate in this International Fleet Review (IFR) 2018 and sending ships to join in the review.
The Commander of RBN convey congratulation for the successful event hosted by ROKN and express his gratitude for inviting RBN to participate. This gives an opportunity to strengthen relationship between ROKN and RBN.
The RBN Commander also highlighted that there has been many exchanges of programs between two navies over the past years and hope to see more interactions and development as well as cooperation within the future. RBN Commander also acknowleged that bilateral defence relations between the two countries have been warm and friendly.
The courtesy call ended with exchanges of plaque as a token of appreciation.
