MUARA, Wednesday, 26 June 2019 - The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Haji Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily received a farewell call by Commander (Select) Lucas G. Barlow, outgoing Chief, Office of Defence Cooperations in Brunei Darussalam. Also present is Commander (Select) Randall D. Jones, the incoming Chief, Office of Defence Cooperations (ODC) in Brunei, for his introductory call to the Commander of RBN.
During the call, the Commander RBN expressed his pleasure that Brunei Darussalam and the United States share cordial and active defence relationship with one another and thanked Commander Lucas Gardner Barlow for his 3 years of service in Brunei Darussalam and wishes him all the best on his future endeavors. The Commander RBN also took the opportunity to welcome Commander Randall D. Jones to Brunei and hopes to continue their working relationship where Commander Lucas G. Barlow left.
The visit also touches on continued strengthening the defense relations between both countries and work together on other possible areas of defence cooperation especially between the two navies.
