MUARA, Monday, 22 February 2021 –
First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Colonel (ARH) Zaenal Arifin, Defence Attaché from the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam at the Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters.
During the introductory call, both sides affirmed satisfaction at the friendship between both countries shared and has deepened through various engagement opportunities in exercises, port visits, and courses, amongst others. Both sides also discussed current developments and the prospect of future interactions whilst adhering to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Colonel (ARH) Zaenul Arifin presented a gift to First Admiral Spry on behalf of the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy, Admiral Yudo Margono.
