MUARA, Thursday, 18 October 2018 – First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN received courtesy call from Captain Jason Hunter, Captain Patrol Boats, Royal Australian Navy. Accompanying Captain Jason Hunter was Commanding Officer of HMAS LAUNCESTON, Lieutenant Commander James Brewster.
During the call, the Commander of RBN expressed his pleasure for the warm and friendly bilateral defence relations between the two countries. Both sides discussed on possible areas to further enhance defence cooperation, develop opportunity to strengthen relationship and plan ahead for future activities. Present from the RBN side was RBN Fleet Commander and RBN Acting Chief of Staff.
HMAS LAUNCESTON is in Brunei Darussalam for Exercise Penguin with Royal Brunei Navy which will be held from 18th of October to 22 October 2018.
