MUARA, Friday, 30 November 2018 – The closing ceremony and certificates presentation for the Petty Officers/Sergeant Leadership and Management Course Serial 02/2018 was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC). Attending the event as the Guest of Honour was Commandant of Naval Training Centre, Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN. A total of 30 participants attended the course which started from 26 October 2018 and ended on 30 November 2018.
Speaking on behalf for the course participants, 16447 Petty Officer Abisrah Karmijam bin Awg Sabtu, RBN shared their experience and reflections throughout the course. This was followed by presenting the certificates and awards to the course participants by the Guest of Honour.
The Best Overall Award was given to 13441 Petty Officer Abdul Aziz bin Awg Armanshah, RBN; the Best Practical Award was awarded to 16441 Petty Officer Ismail bin Hj Ibrahim, RBN; the Best Academic was awarded to16608 Petty Officer Awg Mohd Zulaslam bin Awg Mohd Noor, RBN; the Best Individual Presentation was awarded to 14929 Petty Officer Mohd Alit Abd Rahman bin Hj Mohd Ja’afar/Hj Khamis, RBN; and lastly the Best Syndicate was awarded to Syndicate 1.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of memento by course participants’ representative to the Guest of Honour, followed by the recitation of the closing prayer led by 16618 Petty Officer Zainuddin bin Hj Kassim, RBN and ended with a group photo session.
Among the activities conducted by the course participants were Study Mess event, Command & Task and Individual Presentation which were aimed to enhance the course participants’ knowledge, skills and confidence.
