ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, Wednesday, 09 December 2020 –
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to award the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Command Badge to Chief of Navy, Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), Rear Admiral Aaron Beng Yao Cheng in recognition and appreciation for his service in enhancing the relations between RBN and RSN.
The award was presented by First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @Suhaily, Commander of RBN.
Whilst in Brunei Darussalam, he also paid introductory calls to Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence.
During his official bilateral meeting with Commander of RBN, he expressed his satisfaction for the close military cooperation between the two navy and hoped this would be further strengthened in the near future.
