BRUNEI MUARA, Wednesday, 9th March 2022 - In conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and as part of its Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continues to undertake cemetery cleaning campaign at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Sungai Besar (Seri Menanti), Mukim Kota Batu and Tanah Perkuburan Islam Serai Pimping, Mukim Serasa.
A total of fifty (50) sailors from Royal Brunei Navy participated in the cleaning campaign led by 16156 Chief Petty Officer Risdi bin Hj Idris at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Sungai Besar (Seri Menanti) and 16645 Chief Petty Officer Zahrin bin Awang Haji Taha at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Serai Pimping, Mukim Serasa. The cleaning campaign began with a group photo session followed by recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa led by 15149 Warrant Officer 2 Jasni Bin Anuar and 19742 Leading Hand Hj Md Azrul Hanasli bin Hj Rosli. The cleaning campaigns were conducted in adherence with the COVID19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
This activity was carried out as means of contribution of RBN towards the community and encourage sailors of the RBN to perform good deeds, to enhance spiritual growth and to always instil Taqwa.
