BRUNEI MUARA, Thursday, 17th February 2022 - In conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and as part of its Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continues to undertake cemetery cleaning campaign at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Pekan Muara/Pelabuhan and Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kg Serasa, Mukim Serasa.
A total of fourty-two (42) sailors from Royal Brunei Navy participated in the cleaning campaign led by 15623 Chief Petty Officer Ak Mahadir bin Pg HJ Marsidi at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kg Serasa and 15860 Chief Petty Officer Sahdu bin Haji Samad at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Pekan Muara/Pelabuhan, Mukim Serasa with the presence of Kg Serasa Headvillage, Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin. The cleaning campaign began with a group photo session followed by recitation of Doa Tahlil and Doa Menghidari dari Wabak Penyakit led by 14392 Chief Petty Officer Mohd Lillah bin Mohd Zain and 18233 Petty Officer Md Ikramin bin Hj Jamaluddin. The cleaning campaigns were conducted in adherence with the COVID19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
This activity was carried out as means of contribution of RBN towards the community and encourage sailors of the RBN to perform good deeds, to enhance spiritual growth and to always instil Taqwa.
