10 ANGGOTA TLDB TAMAT KURSUS PIPE MAJOR, KURSUS DRUM MAJOR, KURSUS PERANTARAAN MUZIK, KURSUS ASAS MUZIK DAN KURSUS ASAS SERUNAI DAN TAMBUR 2025

BOLKIAH GARISON, KHAMIS, 13 NOVEMBER 2025 – Pancaragam Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Kursus Pipe Major, Kursus Drum Major, Kursus Perantaraan Muzik, Kursus Asas Muzik dan Kursus Asas Serunai dan Tambur bertempat di Dewan Konsert Wira Seni, Pancaragam ABDB, Bolkiah Garison. Kursus-kursus ini telah dijalankan mulai 06 Januari hingga 13 November 2025, melibatkan seramai 10 anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) yang kesemuanya telah berjaya menamatkan latihan dengan jayanya.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat di majlis tersebut ialah Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Ketua Staf TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah Pangkalan dan Pegawai Muzik, Pancaragam TLDB.

Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan persembahan daripada peserta-peserta kursus bersama gabungan anggota daripada Pancaragam ABDB dan Pancaragam Batalion Pertama TDDB. Seterusnya, ucapan Tetamu Kehormat diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil dan lencana kursus kepada para peserta.

Pukulan gong sebanyak tiga kali menandakan Kursus Pipe Major, Kursus Drum Major, Kursus Perantaraan Muzik, Kursus Asas Muzik dan Kursus Asas Serunai dan Tambur sesi 2025 telah sempurna ditutup. Majlis turut diserikan dengan penyampaian cenderahati oleh Lt Mohammad Hafizuddin bin Mohd Yusof, TLDB, Pemangku Pengarah Pancaragam ABDB kepada Tetamu Kehormat.

Sepanjang kursus, para peserta telah menjalani latihan teori dan praktikal yang mencabar, meningkatkan kemahiran masing-masing dalam bidang muzik ketenteraan. Kursus ini menekankan disiplin, tanggungjawab, dan mutu persembahan muzik yang tinggi, khususnya dalam melaksanakan kawad dan persembahan yang telah ditetapkan.

Kursus-kursus yang dianjurkan oleh Pancaragam ABDB diharap dapat terus melahirkan ahli muzik yang cekap, berpengetahuan dan berwibawa daripada pelbagai agensi untuk menyumbang khidmat dalam setiap acara rasmi dan kebesaran negara. Majlis penutup ini menonjolkan persembahan berkualiti tinggi oleh para peserta, sebagai bukti hasil latihan dan dedikasi mereka sepanjang kursus dijalankan.

10 RBN PERSONNEL COMPLETED THE PIPE MAJOR COURSE, DRUM MAJOR COURSE, INTERMEDIATE MUSIC COURSE, BASIC MUSIC COURSE AND BASIC PIPES AND DRUMS COURSE 2025

BOLKIAH GARRISON, THURSDAY, 13 NOVEMBER 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Band held the Closing Ceremony of the Pipe Major Course, Drum Major Course, Intermediate Musician Course, Basic Musician Course, and Basic Pipes and Drums Course at the Wira Seni Concert Hall, RBAF Band, Bolkiah Garrison. The courses were conducted from 6 January to 13 November 2025, involving a total of 10 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), all of whom successfully completed their respective training programs.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff of the RBLF. Also in attendance were the Acting Commanding Officer Base and Music Officer, RBN Band.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by performances by the course participants, supported by members of the RBAF Band and the 1st Battalion RBLF Band. The event continued with an address by the Guest of Honour, followed by the presentation of certificates and badges to the course participants.

Three gong strikes officiated the formal closing of the Pipe Major Course, Drum Major Course, Intermediate Musician Course, Basic Musician Course, and Basic Pipes and Drums Course. The event concluded with the presentation of a memento by Lt Mohammad Hafizuddin bin Mohd Yusof, RBN, Acting Director of the RBAF Band, to the Guest of Honour.

Throughout the training, participants underwent challenging theoretical and practical sessions, significantly improving their musical proficiency and discipline. The courses emphasized professionalism, responsibility, and the delivery of high-quality musical performances, particularly in the execution of set marches and ceremonial duties.

These courses are expected to continue producing competent, knowledgeable, and dedicated musicians from various units and agencies, capable of providing musical excellence for official and ceremonial events. The closing ceremony served as a culmination of their training, with the participants delivering impressive and high-caliber performances that reflected their dedication and progress throughout the course.
