BRUNEI, Tuesday, 14 September 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in Brunei waters. The PASSEX involved three ships: KDB DARULEHSAN of RBN, HMAS CANBERRA and HMAS ANZAC of RAN.

MUARA, Thursday, 12 August 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Indian Navy (IN) has successfully conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) in the Brunei EEZ participated by 3 ships; KDB DARULEHSAN captained by Commander Pg Mohd Faren bin Pg Mohd Noor, RBN, INS SHIVALIK (Multi-role Guided Missile Stealth Frigate) captained by Captain Kapil Mehta and INS KADMATT (Anti-Submarine Corvette) captained by Commander R K Maharana from the IN.
MUARA, Friday, 6th August 2021 – The 28th Bilateral Exercise HORNBILL Closing Ceremony was held at the Multi National Coordination Center (MNCC), Muara Naval Base this morning between the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) via video tele-conferencing. Present during the closing ceremony was the RBN Fleet Commander (FC), Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Malaysian Defence Adviser to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Kamarudzaman bin Mohd Thani, as well as participating officers, men and women from the RBN.
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 4 August 2021 – Brunei Darussalam's giant-sized national flag that was hoisted on the 1 July has been lowered down, in a ceremony marking the conclusion of His Majesty's 75th Birthday Celebration, in the capital. The lowering of the giant national flag was officiated by Yang Mulia Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
MUARA, Tuesday, 3 August 2021 – The opening ceremony of Exercise HORNBILL 28/21 between Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) was held this morning via Video Teleconference broadcasted from the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC) for RBN and at the Auditorium, Submarine Command Headquarters, Eastern Fleet Command for RMN. The ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Fleet, First Admiral Sazalee bin Shoib. Also involved in the ceremony was; RBN Fleet Commander, Captain Khairil bin Hj Abdul Rahman, RBN; Malaysia Defence Adviser to Brunei, Colonel Kamarudzaman bin Mohd Thani; the Commanding Officer of KDB DARUTTAQWA, Commander Mohd Malek Fadilah bin PDJLD Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Kefli and Commanding Officer of KDB BERKAT, Lieutenant Commander Pg Khairul Anwar bin Pg Dr Abu Bakar.
MUARA, Monday, 02 August 2021 – The Officer Under Training Course of Intake 19, that started on the 21st May 2021, officially come to an end early today at the Multinational Coordination Centre (MNCC), Lecture Theatre, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Muara. Present as the Guest of Honor was Yang Mulia, Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Deputy Commander Navy. Also, in attendance were Commanding Officers, RBTS and RBN officers, NTC instructors and the Officers of Intake 19.
MUARA, Thursday 22 July 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy distributed sacrificial meat comprising of 2 sheeps, 2 buffaloes and 1 cow to Royal Brunei Navy Personnel and Asnaf group living in Kampong Muara, in a Korban Ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1442H celebration.
MUARA, Thursday, 22 July 2021 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a mass Maghrib prayer, Sunat Hajat prayer followed by a mass Isya prayer in conjunction with Exercise HORNBILL 28/21 that is scheduled to be held on 2 – 6 August 2021. The ceremony was held at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
MUARA, Tuesday, 20 July 2021 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the Hari Raya 'Aidiladha with Takbir Raya and Sunnat Hari Raya 'Aidiladha prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of RBN, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji as well as senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN who performed mass Isyak prayer followed by the recitations of Takbir Hari Raya Aidiladha.
MUARA, Saturday, 17 July 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX), in Brunei waters. Two ships were involved: KDB DARULEHSAN of RBN, captained by Commander Saiful Hazril bin Haji Ali, RBN and RSS FEARLESS (22) of RSN, captained by Major Chew Chun Cheong, RSN.

SERASA, Friday, 09 July 2021 – The closing ceremony of Basic General Mechanic (GM144) Weapon and Marine Course was held at the Multi-purpose Room Watermanship Sport Complex in Serasa. The course was conducted over a period of 24 weeks, which commenced on 18th January 2021 until 09th July 2021 under the management of Maritime Technical Schools (MTS).

MUARA, Wednesday 16 June 2021 - Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) Football Championship for the year 2021 was held for two weeks from started on Tuesday, 01 June 2021 to Wednesday, 09 June 2021. RBAirF had won the RBAF Football Championship League Cup after finishing at first position in league, with Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), and Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) took second and third place. Also joined the championship were football team from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), and the Training Institute (TI RBAF).
