MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 16 February 2024 –
The Royal Brunei Navy held a Doa Kesyukuran event at Surau Al-Huda in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah’s 50th birthday.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Captain Khairil bin Abd Rahman, RBN, Acting Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, as well as senior officers, officers and personnel.
The event commenced with a mass Maghrib prayer, followed by Sunat Hajat Prayer and the recitation of Surah Yaasin with Kaifiyat and Doa Kesyukuran led by Imam Ak Muhd Yadiy bin Pg Surfiddin, Imam Surau Al-Huda. The event concluded with a mass Isya prayer.
The event is held annually across all mosques in the Sultanate to express well wishes and appreciation for His Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office
