MUARA, Wednesday, 24 January 2024 – In conjunction with the 8th Naval Working Group between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Indonesian Navy (IDN), the Head of Delegation (HOD) of the IDN, Captain Alfred Daniel Matthews, made a courtesy call to the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Hj Mohammad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN.
Both sides reaffirmed the commitment of both navies in strengthening bilateral ties in various areas of cooperation. Captain Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin expressed his gratitude for the robust relationship shared between the RBN and IDN and acknowledged the Naval Working Group’s significant role in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
Captain Alfred Daniel Matthews conveyed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the RBN and highlighted the importance of such interactions in strengthening bilateral ties.
