MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 17 May 2023 - The Acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN received a farewell call by Group Captain Graeme Davis, Outgoing UK Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Captain Jonathan Caple, Royal Navy (RN), Incoming UK Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam for his introductory call to the Acting Commander of RBN.
During the call, Acting Commander RBN welcomed and expressed his appreciation for their presence at the Royal Brunei Navy. Both sides expressed their gratitude towards the close defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom fostered through bilateral and multilateral platforms. The Acting Commander RBN also thanked Group Captain Graeme Davis for his contributions over his 3 years of service in Brunei Darussalam since 17 May 2019 and wishes him all the best on his future endeavours
Acting Commander RBN also welcomed Captain Jonathan Caple, RN for his first time in Brunei Darussalam and expressed hopes to continue the working relationship.
Group Captain Graeme Davis assumed the appointment as United Kingdom Defence Advisor to Brunei Darussalam on 17 May 2019.
