MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 07 February 2023 – Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from Colonel Thongvanh Sengvongchith, Defence Attaché of Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Malaysia Accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, Acting Commander expressed his gratitude for the long-standing relationship between the Lao People’s Armed Forces (LPAF) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, as well as RBN. Both sides recounted the many occasions of LPAF’s continued commitment to support ASEAN Navy initiatives and expressed hopes towards future cooperations between both organisations in the years ahead.
