Brunei Muara, Tuesday, 12th April 2022 –
In conjunction with the Holy month of Ramadhan 1443H of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and as part of its Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) continues to undertake cemetery cleaning campaign at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Sg Besar (Seri Menanti), Kg Sg Besar.
A total of twenty-two (22) sailors collective from the Fleet had involved throughout the cleaning campaign. The cleaning campaign began with an opening recitation of Surah Al Fatihah lead by Lieutenant Junior Grade Abdul Wafi bin Adanan followed by the cleaning campaign activity lead by by Chief Petty Officer Pg Saripuddin bin Pg Hj Marsidi. The campaign closed with the recitation of
Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa and were conducted in adherence with the COVID-19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
This activity was carried out as means of contribution of RBN towards the community and encourage sailors of the RBN to perform good deeds, to enhance spiritual growth and to always instil
Taqwa as one of Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ core values.
