MUARA, Tuesday, 22 March 2022 –
30 Royal Brunei Navy Personnel successfully completed their course which was held
for 7 weeks including
4 days
of Exercise named
Eksesais Perwira. The
Basic Base Defence Course
was conducted by instructor from
the Royal Brunei Navy Base
Defence and supported by Instructor from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Institute.
The closing ceremony was officiated
by Guest Of Honor, Lieutenant
Junior Grade Afizan bin Safrudin, RBN,
2IC Officer
Of Maritime Operation School RBN.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and followed by a speech from the course’s participant representative. Highlight of the event was the award presenting for Overall Best Performance which was given to 53453 Ordinary Rate Md Khairul Najmi Bin Awg Sulaiman, RBN And Best Academy award given to 52328 Ordinary Rate Muhammad Amar Aqwa Bin Zaini. The Guest Of Honour presented certificates to all course participant and the followed by his closing speech.
Throughout the course, the participants learned the roles and responsibilities of a Rifle Man in any security threats and intrusions. Course participants was also given exposure to the latest Anti Riot Formation. Overall, participants were equipped with peace-time and in-conflict knowledge where the former emphasize the importance of a high safety and security of base.
