​Changi Naval Base, Republic of Singapore – Two Royal Brunei Navy officers, Lieutenant Nur Mazarina binti Marzlan and Lieutenant Wan Syamimi Alya’a Filzah binti Zulkiflee, have successfully completed the 32nd Minehunting Officers’ Course (MHOC) at the Naval Warfare School, RSS Singapura, Changi Naval Base, Republic of Singapore from the 22nd June 2024 to 12th July 2024. 

The course comprises of officers from the Republic of Singapore Navy, Indonesian Navy and Royal Thai Navy. 
The course provided in-depth knowledge on mine warfare, mine countermeasures operations, strategic planning, and threat assessment, enhancing the participants’ conceptual understanding and operational readiness. Collaborative sessions facilitated the exchange of best practices and strengthened professional relationships among the officers from the participating navies.

Completing the MHOC not only enriched the officers’ theoretical knowledge in mine warfare but also served to foster stronger regional relationships  between navies from different countries.
