MUARA, Monday, 28 May 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today held Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at Surau Al-Huda in conjunction with the 57th Anniversary of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) that is due to be celebrated this Thursday, 31st May.
Present as the guest of honour was the Commander of RBN, Yang Mulia First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The ceremony began with mass Zohor prayers, followed by the recital of the Holy Quran from Surah Ad-Dhuha to Surah Al-Ikhlas. The ceremony concluded with a recitation of Takhtim and Khatam prayers followed by the Dikir Marhaban led by Imam Haji Mohd Andy bin Saile, Imam of Surau Al–Huda. The ceremony was also held as part of RBAF’s continuous efforts to promote religious activities during the month of Ramadhan and to cultivate the love of Al-Quran.
