JERUDONG, Saturday, 21 November 2020 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held an Officers’ Dinner Interactions in conjunction with RBN 55th Anniversary. The event took place at the Al-Barakah Hall, Parkview Hotel, Jerudong.
The event began with a group photo session upon the arrival of the Guests of Honour along with Royal Brunei Navy’s officers and their spouses attending the event. Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat was recited by 1159 Lieutenant Junior Grade Hafizuddin bin Mohd Yusof.
Present as the Guest of Honour was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily, the Commander of RBN and spouse, Datin Nazatulshima binti C.A Mohamed.
One of the highlights of the dinner was when the officers won their lucky draw prizes. Several musical performances were also conducted by RBN Band. Towards the end of the event, the Commander of RBN delivered his speech where he congratulated officers who were recently being promoted, newlywed officers and officers who just had their first born. He also congratulated those officers who have just completed their courses and thanked all spouses for their continuous support for this event.
