Monday, 26 October 2020 – In conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul SAW 1442 Hijrah, a delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) attended the 12-night Dikir Syarafil Anam event at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Mosque.The delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) attended the 12-night Dikir Syarafil Anam event at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Mosque.
The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) DatoPaduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Second Minister of Defence. Also in attendance were Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, as well as senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and RBN.
The event commenced with a mass Maghrib Prayer and the recitation of Yassin and Tahlil for the passing of the the late Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul Azim ibni HisMajesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah by the Imam of UBD Mosque followed by Dikir Syarafil Anam. After the mass Isya’ Prayer, the ceremony then continued withDikir Marhaban by the congregation of Ministry of Defence and RBN delegation.
The event ends with Doa Penutup Dikir read by the Imam of UBD Mosque, followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
