MUARA, Saturday, 17 October 2020– Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening ceremony for Dikir Maulud 1442H / 2020M celebrations today at the Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
Present at the ceremony was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were RBN Senior Officers, Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior Ranks.
The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayers followed by the recitation of Sirah An-Nabawiyah in remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihiwassalam (S.A.W) and the opening of Dikir Syarafil Anam which was read by Imam Faidil Rosemady Bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda. The ceremony ended with a mass Isyak prayers followed by Dikir Marhaban and Doa.
Similar ceremonies also took place at all suraus in RBAF camps to usher in the celebration for the birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
