HAWAII, USA, Friday, 04 September 2020– KDB DARULEHSAN sets sail from Joint Base Pearl Harbour-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii United States of America (USA) on her return journey back to Negara Brunei Darussalam after successfully participating in RIMPAC 2020. BRP JOSE RIZAL, Philippine Navy and USS CHUNG HOON, United States Navy sailed together with KDB DARULEHSAN in a convoy for a Post RIMPAC group sail to conduct passage exercise enroute to Guam. The objective of this group sail is to further enhance defence diplomacy and interoperability between participating navies.

The group sail commenced upon leaving JBPHH and ended on 6th August 2020. Among the series of exercises to be conducted included Division Tactics, Communication Drills as well as Gunnery Exercise. Upon completion, USS CHUNG HOON detached from the group whilst KDB DARULEHSAN along with BRP JOSE RIZAL proceeded to sail together back to Guam. Both ships are expected to arrive at Naval Base Guam, USA on the 16th of September 2020.
