MUARA, Friday, 16 August 2019 – The Intermediate Base Defence Course Closing Ceremony consisted of 12 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base Defence personnel was held at Naval Training Centre (NTC). The Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Commander Abd Aiman bin Hj Abd Rahman, Housing Commandant, RBN. The Intermediate Base Defence Course was conducted by RBN Base Defence instructors and invited instructors from Support Battalion’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosives (CBRE) Squadron.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and followed by a speech from the representative of the course. The overall best personnel was awarded to 19770 Able Rate Khalaf Amin bin Hj Jamaeh. The Guest Of Honour also presented course certificates to all personnel then followed by a closing speech.
All RBN Base Defence personnel successfully completed their Intermediate Base Defence Course which ran for six weeks. All personnel learned Quick Battle Orders (QBO) method before the start of every mission throughout the course. Course personnel also conducted a two – day EXERCISE PEJUANG where their physical and mental capabilities were tested during a simulated war time.
