TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 27 May 2019 – A total of 141 children of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel who achieved outstanding results in their examinations last year were recognised today in an award ceremony at the Auditorium, RBAF Defence Academy. The event was held in conjunction with the RBAF’s 58th Anniversary.
Present as Guest of Honour was the Commander of RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.
Also present were Service Commanders, Commandants, military directors, parents and guardians of the students.
This ceremony is held as one of the many community services to commemorate the RBAF anniversary. The award ceremony celebrates the hard work and academic achievements of the students, while also encourages them to strive for further successes in the future. The categories of awards presented are GCE ‘A’ Level, GCE ‘O’ Level, Primary School Assessment (PSR), Brunei Religious Education Higher Certificate (STPUB), Brunei Religious Education Certificate (SPUB), and Primary Six Religious School Certificate Examination (SSRU).
