– The three day Occupational Health and Safety Supervisory Course Series 01/2019 jointly conducted by the Inspectorate Unit of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Royal Brunei Navy Inspectorate Cell concluded yesterday in a ceremony held at the Samudera Hall, Naval Training Centre, Royal Brunei Navy. Present to officiate the closing ceremony was the Staff Officer Grade 3, Health, Safety and Environment of RBN Inspectorate Cell, 997 Lieutenant Abu Qusyairi bin Haji Yacob, RBN.


A total of 12 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy and Civil Service RBN Logistic participated in the course from 23rd

25th April 2019, which includes an assessment on individual abilities as well as working in groups. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge on the roles and responsibilities of the OHS Supervisors as well as understanding the RBAF’s OHS Management System and Policies. It is expected for the course participants to implement the lessons being taught at their respective workplace enabling a more healthy and suitable environment to work in.


The closing ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by RBN Religious Teacher, Ustaz Rafiuddin bin Hj Mohd Ali. This was then followed by the sharing of experience by the elected member of the course participants and subsequently the presentation of certificates. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
