RIMBA, Friday, 1 March 2019 – The final match of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Waterpolo and Swimming Tournament was held at the Royal Brunei AirForce Swimming Pool. In attendance to present the Championship trophy and prizes was the Commander of RBN, First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Hj Muhammad
Armada B emerged as champion in the water polo tournament after beating Pangkalan B in the final match with the score 5 – 2. Meanwhile Armada A came in third place by defeating Pangkalan A.
For the swimming tournament, Armada A emerged as overall champion by attaining 8 Golds and 2 Bronzes. Pangkalan A came in the second place followed by Pangkalan B in the third Place.
The RBN Swimming and Waterpolo Tournament 2018/2019 is an annual sport event that aims to encourage swimming competition amongst RBN Personnel and to scout new atheletes to represent RBN at the Inter-unit competition.
