MUARA, Saturday, 16 February 2019 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a thanksgiving prayer ceremony at Surau Al-Huda to mark the 45th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.Present as the guest of honour at the event was Deputy Commander of RBN, Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel from the RBN.
The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Ma’idah from verse 8 to 11 by Lieutenant Junior Grade Mohammad Haziq@Ahmad bin Mohammad Ali, RBN. This was followed by mass Maghrib prayers, Sunat Hajat prayers, recital of Surah Yaasin and specific Doa as well as Isya’ prayers led by Imam Faidil Rosemany bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda.
