MUARA, Monday, 19 November 2018 – A ceremony marking the close of the nightly Dikir Maulud was held at the Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base in conjunction with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam.
Present at the event as Guest of Honour was Acting RBN Commander, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN. Also in attendance were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBN.
The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Anbiya (verse 105-112) by Ordinary Rate Abdul Muiz bin Alias, RBN followed by the Maghrib prayer, and then a religious talk on “Tarbiyah Rasulullah Membawa Berkat Bersama Keluarga” by Dr Ahmad Asri Lubis, Assistant Lecturer from the Faculty of Arabic Language, University Sultan Sharif Ali.
The event continued with the Isyak prayer then ended with Dikir Marhaban led by Imam Faidil Rosemany bin Mohamad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda.
The closing ceremony of Dikir Maulud is also held simultaneously in all Surau of RBAF camps.
