MUARA, Tuesday, 23 October 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of RSS ENDEAVOUR (ENV), an Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank from the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). She is currently in Brunei for a port visit from 23rd October 2018 until 27th October 2018. Present to receive them was Commandar Rasman bin Puteh, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB DARUTTAQWA, as RBN’s senior receiving officer. Lieutenant Colonel Donovan Chao Wei Ching, Assistant Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam was also present to receive RSS ENDEAVOUR at RBN’s Jetty Bravo.
RSS ENDEAVOUR is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Lee Kwok Song. Joining the deployment as well is Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hock Chye Joseph, Commander (Navy) Midshipmen Wing, Officer Cadet School, SAFTI (Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute) Military Institute. RSS ENDEAVOUR is currently embarking on her Midshipman Sea Training Deployment (MSTD) programme and Brunei is one of her port-of-calls.
