MUARA, Wednesday, 10 October 2018 – A promotion ceremony for the 79 personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) was held at the Senior Rates Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to 79 RBN personnel was Captain Hj Othman Bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily, Acting Commander of RBN.
The list of promoted personnel are as follows, 2 personnel to Substantive Chief Petty Officer, 3 personal to Substantive Petty Officer and 8 to Acting Petty Officer, 14 personal to Substantive Leading Hand and 11 to Acting Leading Hand, 24 personnel to Substantive Able Rate and 17 to Acting Able Rate. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin bin Haji Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN.
The ceremony concluded with a
Doa Selamat and light refreshments. Also present during the ceremony were RBN senior officers, officers, RBN personnel and family members of the promoted personnel.
