MUARA, Friday, 05 October 2018 –  A total of  11 personnel of  the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) had successfully completed the General Mechanic (GM) 141/2018 career course and the closing ceremony for this course was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre, RBN.

Attending as Guest of Honor and presenting certificates as well as patches to six marine engineers and five weapon engineers of the course was 896 Lieutenant Amirul bin Haji Muhammad, Deputy Weapon Engineering Officer of KDB DARULEHSAN, RBN. 
This course was organised by Maritime Technical School, Naval Training Centre for 8 months commenced on the 26th February 2018 until 5th October 2018. For this year, GM 141/2018 was the first batch that the System Training has been implemented for a better understanding and for an exposure to the systems that are available on RBN Ships.
Objective of this course is to train new personnel on their respective vocation either in Marine or Weapon Engineering, in order to able them to carry out their duties as well as holding responsibilities especially in the real working environment.
Guest of Honor highlighted that all course participants involved in this course should not stop learning and apply as much as possible on the knowledge that has been shared throughout the long week of course. The skills and standard should be maintained throughout their entire career.
The ceremony ended with photo session and refreshments with Guest of Honor.
