MUARA, Monday, 27 August 2018 – Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF) Force Sergeant Major, 9465 Warrant Officer 1 Ahmad bin Haji Kadir paid a farewell visit to Royal Brunei Navy, Muara Naval Base.The farewell visit commenced with a farewell call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad. During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express his gratitude and appreciation for Warrant Officer 1 Ahmad bin Haji Kadar during his tenure as RBAF Sergeant Major , which he has held since 12 August 2014.
The visit then continued with an interaction with the RBN Senior rates and Junior rates at the RBN Senior Rates Mess, which started with a group photo, followed up with a recitation of Surah Al-Fathah and light refreshment with a video showing the memories of RBAF Sergeant Major with the RBN personnel.
The RBAF Sergeant Major also delivered a speech and received commemorative mementos from the Navy Sergeant Major and representative from the RBN Senior Rates and RBN Junior Rates. In his speech, the RBAF Sergeant Major emphasized the discipline of RBAF personnel, and thanked to all the RBN pesonnel who have tirelessly contributed to the success of the RBAF organisation has achieved so far.
The farewell visit concluded with the closing doa and the signing of parchment.
