Muara, Sunday, 30th May 2021 – In commemoration of 60th anniversary of Royal Brunei Armed Force (RBAF), thanksgiving prayer was held at Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Muara Naval Base.
The Guest of Honour was Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander of RBN. Also in attendance were ships Commanding Officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The Ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Anfal, verses 60 – 63 by Able Rate Abd Farid bin Haji Sufri, RBN and the event continued with the mass Maghrib prayer followed by Sunat Hajat Prayer, recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, as well as thanksgiving Prayer. The ceremony is then continued with the mass ‘Isya Prayer and concluded with the chants of
Selawat for Prophet Muhammad led by Imam Faidil Rosemady bin Mohammad, Imam of Surau Al-Huda, RBN.
The theme for RBAF 60th Anniversary is “Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara”.
