BELALONG CAMP, Monday, 23 October 2023 - A total of 28 students from Marine Technical School, Naval Training Center attended a 3-day “Sekapur Sirih” programme conducted by Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam (OBBD) from 23 to 25 October 2023. The programme included activities such as Belalong Camp Trekking, kayak expedition, solo night dispatch, command and task, trust building and team building. The students were taught on basic survival skills, effective communication and critical thinking.
At the end of the programme, a small certificate presentation event for all successful participants were held at the main base camp, Belalong Camp. Purpose of having these programs for our students were to develop and shape our students’ social life skills, knowledge, self confidence, and leadership to which they can apply not only in their daily life but also the workforce.
