MUARA, Friday, 16 February 2018 - To commemorate the 44th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, a thanksgiving prayer ceremony was held at the Surau Al-Huda, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
This thanksgiving ceremony was held to show the gratitude of RBN for His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for being a devoted leader for the citizens of Brunei Darussalam in general and specifically towards to all Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel.
The Guest of Honor for the event was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, the Commander of RBN. Also in attendance were RBN officers and RBN personnel.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Surah Al-Ma’idah by 1218 Lt JG Adri Qawiem bin Mohd Jefri, RBN. This was followed by Maghrib prayer, Sunat Hajat prayer, recitation of Surah Yassin and then a special doa to ask for blessing of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
