BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 29 May 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum for the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman.
The Tahlil ceremony was held in conjunction with the upcoming RBAF 57th Anniversary, as well as the holy month of Ramadhan.
Present at the ceremony was was the Commander of RBN, Yang Mulia First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa was led by Ustaz Rafiuddin bin Haji Mohd Ali, Religious Teacher of RBN. The tahlil ceremony is part of the religious activities held every year in the holy month of Ramadhan.
