Bandar Seri Begawan, Sunday, 13 May 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy supported the Blood Donation Campaign held at the Serambi Suluh Hall, Tarindak D’Seni in Bandar Seri Begawan. 

The campaign was organised by Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Jerudong Park Medical Centre.
At the same time, health screening was also available for the public. The main aim for this campaign is to overcome shortage of blood supply in the country, as mentioned by Aini Zulfa Hj Asbinin, from Marketing Executive of JPMC.  She further explained on the importance of the public helping those in need of blood donations as single donation can save three lives. Moreover it is to educate Bruneian it is a health beneficial for them such as reduces the risk of heart attack and to avoid obesity.
Apart from the Health Screening and Blood Donation booth, there are also a Tobacco Clinic booth where they provide an adequate and effective explanation on the smoking cessation services to help clients or patients to quit smoking.
