MUARA COMMERCIAL PORT, Saturday 28th April 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed Royal Navy (RN), HMS ALBION at the Muara Commercial Wharf. The ship were greeted upon arrival by officers, other ranks and RBN Band lead by Commander Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN, Commanding Officer of KDB DARULAMAN. The 5-day visit to Brunei Darussalam starts from 28 April to 02 May 2018. The ship is commanded by Captain Tim Neild, RN Commanding Officer, HMS ALBION with a total number of 325 personnel onboard.
Captain Tim Neild, RN will also make a courtesy call to First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN. During the visit, interactions such as Lunch onboard HMS ALBION, Senior rates interaction, Reception for Britannia Royal Naval College Alumni and Sport.
The ship will also conduct a Passage Exercise with a one of DARUSSALAM Class, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 02 May 2018. The last Royal Navy ship to visit Brunei Darussalam was by HMS RICHMOND in May 2011.
