Muara Naval Base, Thursday 3 May 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony series 2/2017 for 23 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs). The ceremony was held at the Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ and Petty Officers’ Mess, RBN.
Present at the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily Deputy Commander RBN who presented the rank insignias. This was witnessed by RBN Senior Officers, Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and family members of the promoted personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by 13007 Warrant Officer 2 Aliuddin bin Hj Serbini, Fleet Engineering Staff, followed by the presentation of the insignias by the Guest of Honour and ended with a Thanksgiving Prayer.
