SERASA RBAF WATERMANSHIP, Friday, 10 July 2026 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Naval Training Centre held the Closing Ceremony for the Naval Induction Programme and On-the-Job Training (OJT) Series 01/2026, marking the successful completion of six months of training by personnel from the 178th Male Recruit Intake and 60th Female Recruit Intake.
The programme commenced with a three-month Naval Induction Programme conducted by the Naval Training School, where participants underwent training in military discipline, leadership, physical fitness, teamwork and the core values expected of Royal Brunei Navy personnel. The programme laid a strong foundation in preparing recruits for naval service.
Upon completion of the induction phase, participants underwent a three-month On-the-Job Training (OJT) programme, during which they were attached to various Royal Brunei Navy units and branches. Under the guidance of experienced officers and personnel, they gained practical operational experience while applying the knowledge and skills acquired during the induction programme.
The OJT further enhanced the participants’ professional competencies, operational readiness, discipline, teamwork and confidence, while providing valuable exposure to the Royal Brunei Navy’s working environment, operational procedures and day-to-day responsibilities.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants in recognition of their commitment, dedication and successful completion of the programme.
The successful completion of the Naval Induction Programme and On-the-Job Training Series 01/2026 reflects the Royal Brunei Navy’s continued commitment to developing competent, disciplined and professional personnel who are ready to serve His Majesty, religion and the nation.
MAJLIS PENUTUP NAVAL INDUCTION PROGRAMME DAN ON-THE-JOB TRAINING SIRI 01/2026
KOMPLEKS SUKAN AIR ABDB SERASA, Jumaat, 10 Julai 2026 – Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Naval Induction Programme dan On-the-Job Training (OJT) Siri 01/2026, menandakan kejayaan anggota Pengambilan Rekrut Lelaki Ke-178 dan Askar Wanita Ke-60 menamatkan program latihan selama enam bulan.
Program ini dimulakan dengan Naval Induction Programme selama tiga bulan yang dikendalikan oleh Sekolah Latihan Laut. Sepanjang tempoh tersebut, para peserta telah menjalani latihan yang merangkumi disiplin ketenteraan, kepimpinan, kecergasan fizikal, kerja berpasukan serta penerapan nilai-nilai teras sebagai anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, sekali gus membentuk anggota yang berdaya tahan, berdisiplin dan bersedia untuk latihan seterusnya.
Setelah menamatkan Program Induksi, para peserta meneruskan latihan melalui On-the-Job Training selama tiga bulan dengan ditempatkan di pelbagai unit dan cawangan TLDB. Di bawah bimbingan pegawai dan anggota yang berpengalaman, mereka berpeluang mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang telah dipelajari di samping meningkatkan kompetensi, profesionalisme, disiplin, semangat kerja berpasukan dan keyakinan dalam melaksanakan tugas.
Majlis diakhiri dengan penyampaian sijil kepada para peserta sebagai pengiktirafan atas komitmen, dedikasi dan kejayaan mereka menamatkan program latihan tersebut.
Kejayaan pelaksanaan Naval Induction Programme dan On-the-Job Training Siri 01/2026 mencerminkan komitmen berterusan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei dalam melahirkan anggota yang kompeten, berdisiplin dan profesional, serta bersedia untuk berkhidmat kepada Raja, agama dan negara.
